Blijburg

Blijburg aan zee is a cafe in IJburg, a new neighbourhood in Amsterdam which is being build on couple of man made islands. In 2003, a temporary beach was made along with the cafe. At the moment, Blijburg has moved to it's second location. The Google satellite images show the cafe along with the beach at the first location. The new location is couple of hundred meters more to the south. Of the couple of artificial beaches in town, Blijburg is probably the nicest.

There are occasionally concerts by local Salsa bands here.
